Thanks for checking out my portfolio! With over seven years in the industry, I've been in marketing communications since 2017, initially working primarily in graphic and print design full-time while attending college, with some more elaborate print advertising campaigns intermittently. I then pursued my B.S. in Communication, Public Relations at Cal Poly Pomona while continuing to work in printing, and beginning to apply my written communication skills to PR and marketing efforts in the non-profit space for a local environmental education grassroots initiative.
Post-grad, I gained experience expanding this to a national scale while interning at the Ad Council, contributing to MarComms efforts for award-winning, impactful campaigns including Seize the Awkward, the COVID-19 Vaccine Education Initiative, Youth Vaping Prevention, Youth Fentanyl Awareness, and many more.
I have since been gaining agency experience in the hospitality and product marketing spaces, primarily servicing clients in the wine industry in my position at Wineglass Marketing. Here, I have expanded my client service interpersonal skills and campaign planning, and have even been awarded the opportunity to dive into analytics, data analysis, and data storytelling. While largely specialized in the range of clientele, the experience I've gained in account service is varied and can be applied to a number of industries, especially when combined with the wide variety of areas I have produced work for throughout my entire career.
Above all, I believe in clear, concise, transparent communication as an overarching strategy that all industries can follow. To me, the primary function of PR, marketing, and advertising is to listen to consumers and advocate for their wants to the organization in order to deliver campaigns that serve them. In today's digital environment, there's no reason to deliver campaigns that aren't data-driven and highly targeted in an audience-first manner.
